First Tutorial (Setting up UMP2 on AVP2)

Ok, my first tutorial.

How to set up UMP2 for AVP2:


Download UMP2

After it is done downloading (Or you could do it while it's downloading)
You need to download updates.

After you have that all done,

Click on the main UMP2 RAR file, it should open it up. You will see some folders, highlight "UMP2" folder in there, and press "Extract" and choose your directory. It may take a few minutes.

After that, find your AVP2 folder:
Usually 'C:\Program Files\Fox\Aliens vs. Predator 2\'

Cut and paste (Or copy and paste, your choice, please note that the UMP2 folder is a few gigabytes in size) the UMP2 folder into the Aliens VS. Predator 2 folder,

Cut and Paste usually works instantly, copy and paste takes a few minutes.

After that, EXTRACT the updates with WinRAR. Open up the updater programs you extracted from the Updater RAR files and it will ask you to choose a directory for it to update, make it 'C:\Program Files\Fox\Aliens vs. Predator 2\UMP2' (Although it may have already have the directory there)

After you have done that:

Open up AVp2.exe and once you will see the splash screen (The screen with the queen on it)

Press 'Options'

You will see 'command line.'
Under it, type "-rez UMP2" without the quotes.



Then check off 'always specify these command line perameters'




If you know you have succeeded, when you open up AVP2, the first screen should say 'Ultimate Mappack 2 Installed'
